President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the 23rd substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Kekere-Ekun took the oath of office at the State House, Abuja, on Monday.
She was earlier confirmed by the Senate on 25 September 2024 after President Tinubu swore her into office in an acting capacity.
Kekere-Ekun succeeds Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who bowed out upon attaining the retirement age of 70 years.
