Popular music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, widely known as TG Omori, has disclosed that his recent kidney transplant was unsuccessful.
The 29-year-old artist, made this known in an X post on Tuesday morning.
Earlier, Omori revealed that his only brother had selflessly volunteered one of his kidneys in an attempt to save his life. "Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again," he wrote in a post on X.

Omori also posted photos on his Instagram story, showing himself in a hospital bed receiving oxygen. In the captions, he expressed his fears, writing, "Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die."
Unfortunately, in a later update, TG Omori revealed that the transplant was not successful and asked the public to keep him in their prayers during this challenging time. "One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas, Lagos. Pray for me," he wrote on X.
