The Supreme Court has quashed an appeal filed by the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi to stop his probe over an alleged N96 billion fraud.
Amaechi sought to prohibit the incumbent Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike from causing him to appear before a probe panel investigating his eight-year-tenure as the Governor of Rivers State.
But in the ruling on Friday, the apex court said Amaechi should appear before the seven-man commission of inquiry already set up by Governor Wike.
