In the meantime, the Nigerian Army has taken over the Ekwulobia roundabout leading to the Secretariat.
The incident comes a day to the appearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, who is standing trial for alleged treason in an Abuja High Court.
