Does the rotation of the Presidency between the North and South help keep Nigeria as one? Morning Crossfire host, Sheriff Quadry asked this question on Monday.
Responding, public Affairs analyst, Gbolahan Olojede believes this is true, to an extent, saying rotational presidency is the stop gap that keeps everybody happy.
Olojede further explained that because Nigeria has a strong government, everybody wants to take the position of President in the country.
He recommends that the powers of the Federal Government be reduced and states be empowered, as it will be a long term solution to power tussle in the country.
