As criticisms continue to come the way of Team Nigeria athletes for their performance at the just concluded Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, some of the Olympians have explained the reason for the poor results seen at the Games.
The Badminton duo of Godwin Olofua and Anu Opeyori in an exclusive interview on Game On explained that the quality of their foreign counterparts as evident in the world rankings shows the need for more exposure with foreign tournaments for Nigerian players.
However, while some callers who phoned in commended the effort of the athletes, others maintained they failed due to complacency.
