The Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Rivers West Senatorial District, Robinson Ewor, has accused FCT Minister Nyesom Wike of betraying Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara by allegedly attempting to remove the governor just three months into his tenure.
Ewor made the comment on Nigeria Info’s Morning Crossfire, following a weekend of verbal exchanges between the governor and the minister at separate events. He claimed that Wike lacks popularity among the people of Rivers and has never won any political contest based on his popularity.
Speaking further, Ewor accused the minister of exploiting the PDP and the Rivers State House of Assembly for personal political interests. He challenged Wike to form his political party to test his popularity before the 2027 elections.
