A United Kingdom study has revealed that Lagos state loses 3.9 billion naira annually to flooding.
The British Deputy High Commissioner (DHC) in Lagos, Ben Llewellyn-Jones made this revelation when he featured on Nigeria Info' Morning Crossfire with Sheriff Quadry on Thursday.
According to Llewellyn-Jones, the economic impact of flooding cannot be overemphasized as even other parts of the country feel the brunt yearly.
He went ahead to discuss possible solutions to Nigeria's flooding problem.
