Chizy Enyi Esq., President General of the Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership, has given the Rivers State Government a seven-day ultimatum to demolish a five-story building owned by Samuel Nwanosike, the former chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area.

The Rivers State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development sealed the building due to violations of approved building plans.

In an interview on Nigeria Info’s Morning Crossfire, Mr Enyi explained that demolition is crucial for the safety of lives and property in the area. He also noted that the fine imposed on Mr Nwanosike accumulated from multiple violations of the original fine.

Speaking further, Mr Enyi dismissed any claims that the building's sealing is politically motivated.
