The FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has terminated with immediate effect, the contract of Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd. for the management of the International Conference Center, Abuja.
This is as the minister awarded the contract for the immediate comprehensive renovation of the center to Julius Berger Nig Plc.
Julius Berger constructed the International Conference Center, completing it in 1990.
Wike also approved the appointment of Ambassador Maureen Tamuno as the new Managing Director of Abuja Investment Company Limited, (AICL).
Tamuno was the Nigerian High Commissioner to Jamaica, Belize, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
Her appointment takes immediate effect.
