Images from the tragic crash site that claimed the life of Access Holdings' Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, alongside five others, have been released by United States authorities.

In the pictures unveiled on Tuesday, two officials from the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) were depicted inspecting the wreckage of the ill-fated helicopter.

The crash, involving Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo, occurred near the California-Nevada border close to Halloran Springs.

The incident took the lives of the four passengers and two crew members on board on Friday, February 9.

The images were made public subsequent to statements from Michael Graham, an NTSB board member, confirming the agency's site visit and outlining the investigative activities conducted on the initial full day of examination at the accident scene.

These photos show NTSB officials meticulously observing the wreckage at the location. Graham underscored the agency's dedication to a thorough investigation of the scene, detailing aerial drone mapping and documentation of the wreckage. Additionally, various electronic devices and onboard equipment were recovered for further analysis.
