The Senate has approved President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 Special Advisers.
Tinubu’s request was contained in a letter that was read at Tuesday's plenary by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan.
After the letter was read, Senate leader, Ibrahim Gobir moved a motion that the President's request be considered and approved.
The Senate granted accelerated consideration of the request and promptly approved it.
