The Rivers State House of Assembly clerk, Emeka Amadi, and the deputy clerk, Calistus Offrika, have been redeployed.
This is according to a memo titled "Senior Staff Posting," signed by the Director of Service, Welfare, Inying Brown, on behalf of the Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, George Nwaeke.
The memo shows that the clerk was deployed to the Scholarship Board while the deputy clerk was posted to the Readers Project.
Georgewill Otto, an assistant director in the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, was moved to Rivers State Small Town and Rural Water Supply Agency.
According to the memo dated November 20, the posting takes effect immediately.
It follows the crisis rocking the state assembly, which has seen an impeachment notice against the Rivers State governor, Siminalaye Fubara.
The crisis started on 29 October with the burning of the chambers of the state Assembly and has led to the emergence of two factions in the house.
