Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been arraigned on six counts of assault by the Ogun State Police Command.
He was arraigned at Ifo High Court in Ogun State on Monday morning.
Last week, police officers raided Portable's office, but he resisted arrest and was subsequently taken into custody on Friday.
Portable, the "Zazu Zeh" crooner, is facing several charges, including assaulting a man in Ota who filed a petition with the Ogun Commissioner of Police.
According to Muyiwa Adejobi, the Police Force Public Relations Officer, there are multiple complaints of assault and attacks against the singer, and he will be investigated.
Adejobi tweeted that there is no room for sentiment in the law and that Portable has no constitutional immunity. Therefore, he must appear in court and allow the judge to listen to the charges against him.
