The remains of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad have been exhumed for autopsy by police authorities in Lagos State.

This was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday.

Hudenyin in a tweet said: "Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohad #Justice4Mohbad."

Mohbad, 27, passed on last week with the cause of his death still unclear.

Since his death, there has been a public outcry for justice for the singer and protests from Nigerians.

Recall that Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, is being probed by the police for an alleged assault and involvement in Mohbad's death.

Mohbad is a former signee of Naira Marley's record label, Marlian Records.
