The trial of BRT driver, Andrew Nice was again stalled at the Lagos State High court, following the absence of his lawyer in court Tuesday.
At the resumption of proceedings, the court was informed of the absence of the defense counsel who was reportedly hospitalised.
Justice Serifat Sonaike noted that the trial could not be held in the absence of the defense counsel and adjourned to the earlier scheduled 9 June for the continuation of the trial.
Andrew Nice Ominicoron is standing trial on a five-count charge including the murder of his passenger, 22-year-old Bamise Ayonwola.
Three witnesses were present in court on Tuesday, including Mr. Nice.
