The Nigeria Police Command in Adamawa State has confirmed an attack on Kwapre community in Hong Local Government Area.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Yola on Tuesday.
He said that the incident occurred on Christmas day and that investigations have commenced.
The District Head of Dugwaba, Simon Buba, also confirmed the attack, saying two persons were killed by gunmen who came on motorcycles and stole food items before riding towards Sambisa Forest.
