Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again reduced the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
In a fresh move to ease fuel costs, the price has dropped from ₦865 to ₦835 per litre, reflecting a 3.5% decrease.
The adjustment comes amid a decline in global crude oil prices, which have fallen from over $70 to around $64 per barrel in recent weeks.
This marks the second recent reduction by the refinery, which had earlier brought the price down from ₦880 to ₦865 per litre.
Despite that move, marketers failed to pass the savings on to consumers at the pump.
