Your first answer (which may be religiously inclined) to that question would probably read along the lines of, "Even the Bible says a man that finds a wife finds a good thing."

Truth be told though, it appears that these thoughts have been partly, if not largely taken overboard.

Why then does it appear that there is seeming desperation on the part of women to get married?
