A Father's Confession: My Own Son Beat Me Up Like A Baby

The strength of a family lies in the unbreakable bond that they share, so it is often said.

Hence another saying that goes "In time of test, family is best."

When that test comes in the surprising form of the family however, safe to say all that is set is anything but the best.

Okolie (not his real name) has been put to the test by his own family; and after 27years of marriage to his wife, it has all come to an end.

Disgruntled, perturbed and agitated, he shares with Wemimo Adewuni on the Divorce Series on Sunny Side how his marriage and family spiraled out of control.

For him, his wife tried to "destroy" him through his children.

"I never intended to be separated from my wife, but it was the best way to go," he narrated.

"I was on the verge of being destroyed by my children through the influence of my wife.

"My first son beat me up like a baby, he comes into my bedroom with women too."

That is however not the end of the woes for Okolie.

He narrates more on how he discovered another marriage for his wife, the spiritual link to his own parents, and his biggest fear for his sons in the video. Click to watch.
