INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in the company of National Commissioners and senior officials of the Commission received the machines at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday.

In a statement forwarded to our newsdesk, INEC National Commissioner, Festus Okoye said the commission had created four airport hubs in Abuja, Kano, Lagos, and Port Harcourt to facilitate the smooth delivery of the machines over the last four months.

He added that with the arrival of the last flight in Abuja on Tuesday, INEC has now taken delivery of the required number of the BVAS for all the polling units in Nigeria as well as extra machines in line with its contingency provision for all critical election materials.

He appealed to Nigerians to continue to support the commission to enthrone a technology-driven credible election.
