Two nuns, their driver, and a couple have been burnt to death after the vehicles they were in collided along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway in Nawfia, Anambra State.
The nuns were in a Toyota Hiace Bus which crashed into a Toyota Highlander, with the couple inside.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra, Margaret Onabe said the bus was speeding when it lost control and rammed into the Highlander from the back, causing both vehicles to go up in a flame.
The nuns were reportedly the principal and bursar of Handmaid of God Secondary School in Amansea town.
They were returning from a market with the school driver when the accident happened at about 7 pm on Tuesday.
