The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) began a two-day mock accreditation in Osun on Monday, in preparation for the 16 July governorship election in the state.
The commission tested its Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines at a few polling units in Osun Central Senatorial District.
Registered voters who participated in the exercise at Polling Unit 5, located within Salvation Army School in Osogbo were attended to and accredited within 45 seconds.
They were identified on the BVAS machines using their fingerprints or facial recognition and subsequently accredited.
The mock accreditation also took place at Olorunsogo Community Primary School, in Egbedore Local Government Area.
The exercise continues Tuesday in six local government areas, and two registration areas/wards across the three senatorial districts in Osun State.
