The Kano State House of Assembly is seeking partnerships with Cool FM, Wazobia FM, and Arewa Radio as part of efforts to develop the state through developmental bills.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Jibril Isma’ila Falgore, disclosed this during a courtesy visit by the State House of Assembly New Media Team to Aim Plaza on Friday.
Hon. Falgore stressed that the triple station was chosen due to its unique style of broadcasting and professionalism, adding that the State can only develop if its messages are being disseminated through professional channels.
Hon. Falgore who was represented by the Press Director of the Kano State House of Assembly, Kamaludeen Sani Shawai, said the speaker applauds Cool, Wazobia, and Arewa for their “timely decimation of content.”
Responding, the Programmes Manager of the stations, Prince Daniel Aboki welcomed the partnership idea, just as he offered a free one-hour program to the Speaker to broadcast the House of Assembly’s activities.
Aboki, however, assured listeners of the stations’ commitment to “ethical broadcasting.”
