Republican Donald Trump has been elected US president, after defeating Democrat kamala Harris.
Trump will become the 47th President of the United States after winning Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes bringing his overall electoral tally to 277
His victory came after key wins in the battleground states of Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia.
Trump won both the popular votes and the Electoral College votes.
