A Federal High Court in Lagos has granted Godwin Emefiele, the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), bail to the sum of N20 million.
The former CBN Chief, who was arraigned earlier today on a two-count charge of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
Nicholas Oweibo, the presiding judge in his ruling said the charges against Emefiele are bailable.
The bail was granted with one surety.
