The secondary school students edition of the 'I Beg To Differ' tournament began on Monday on Nigeria Info's Hard Facts.

The tournament made up of sixteen contestants began with Ruth Okorocha and Chiagozie Isidore going head-to-head in the first round.

Both contestants debated the topic, Will Artificial Intelligence be a net positive for humanity?

Ruth Okorocha, who supported the motion, insists in her argument that Artificial Intelligence will help minimise human errors and also improve the efficiency of work.

On his part, Chiagozie Isidore who opposes the motion revealed that Artificial Intelligence will make humans very lazy.

He added that reliance on artificial intelligence will lead to unemployment.

Having weighed arguments from both contestants, the panel of judges decides that Chiagozie Isidore came out top, hence progressing to the next round of the tournament.
