...DSS To Provide Tight Security At Venue.
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will on Monday resume the trial of the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafran (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
He is being charged with terrorism and treasonable felony by the Federal Government.
The Department of Security Services (DSS), spearheading Kanu’s trial on behalf of the Federal Government, is expected to ensure tight security at the venue of the trial, to prevent possible breakdown of law and order.
The Federal High Court will allow only ten journalists access to the court to cover Kanu’s trial.
Recall that Kanu was rearrested on June 29 in Kenya years after he jumped bail and fled Nigeria in 2017.
