In case you are pondering if quitting smoking is worth it because of the damage that has been done to your body, the answer is yes! It is worth it.
Medical expert, Dr. Fred Unuigbokhai in an interview on Morning Crossfire explained that upon quitting smoking, the body has the ability to repair itself.
According to Dr. Unuigbokhai, the quicker a person quits smoking, the better, because it gives the body a better chance o regenerating.
He however noted a possibility of serious damage to the body, which may need the person go get help in repairing the body.
