UEFA on Tuesday announced its #UCL team of the season.
Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois was selected in goal, Andy Robertson Virgil Van Dijk, Antonio Rudiger and Trent Alexander-Arnold in defence, Fabinho, Luka Modric and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne in midfield and Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe in attack.
Speaking live on Game on 99.3 Nigeria Info, Samuel Akpan, Chuma Nnoli, Anthony Dimwaka and Adaeze Michael shared their thoughts on the team of the season.
Chuma Nnoli said he will remove Kylian Mbappe, making a case for Mo Salah who not only advanced further than the Frenchman but also played a vital role in that run.
Anthony also highlighted Mbappe’s inclusion, stating he’ll rather have Sebastian Haller
Adaeze Michael, while agreeing that Mbappe shouldn’t be on the list, added that she’ll have David Alaba replace Antonio Rudiger.
