Director of Vehicle Inspection Service, Lagos State Akin- George Fashola, has stated that a large percent of commercial motorcycles (Okadas) operating in the State have riders' licenses.

He made this statement while responding to questions on Daily Digest with Jimi Disu.

Morning Crossfire host, Sheriff Quadry, who was present at the interview, had expressed concerns about the roadworthiness of okadas and their riders in the state, a sentiment Jimi Disu shared.

But Fashola in response said every okada on the road comes from a local government and they get registered in that local government, giving them permission to operate in the Lagos.
