On Table Talk on Monday, Wemimo Adewuni, introducing her topic, unknowingly dropped a "bombshell".

She quoted a Nigerian Bureau of statistics data that there are more men than women in Nigeria.

This statistic defied the beliefs of many male callers who wasted no time in letting Wemimo know how they felt about it.

Ogbona, a caller, in his opinion, alledged that the statistic was made up as they do not represent the reality on the "street"

Likewise, another caller, Joseph, using his locality as an example did a rough count of his neighbours and also concluded that the statistic is false.

The ladies were not left out of the conversation, Eunice wondered why the statistic was difficult to accept adding that it is not meant to endanger any gender but ensure growth.
