Stephanie Ehi Ameh and Olaloye Toluwase went head to head in the final Group D debate matchup of the 'I Beg To Differ' Tournament of Champions, with Stephanie ultimately emerging victorious in the battle of wits.

The two debaters were competing for the top spot in Group D and were tasked with debating the topic: "Nigeria Is Ready To Embrace Cashlessness."

Olaloye Toluwalase argued in favour of the proposition, stating that a cashless policy would help to address the irregularities plaguing the cash economy.

He also pointed out that a cashless policy drive would reduce the cost of banking while encouraging financial inclusion.

Stephanie Ehi Ameh, however, opposed the motion by noting that Nigeria lacks the necessary infrastructure to support a cashless policy, making it impossible to efficiently implement.

She emphasized that the government must first address issues such as irregular power supply, unstable internet, and a lack of adequate IT professionals before embarking on a cashless policy drive.

After careful consideration, the judges declared Stephanie the winner of the debate.

However, both Stephanie and Olaloye advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament due to the withdrawal of Oluchi Akwarandu.
