The FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, has rejected the Nigerian Customs Service's request for reconsideration over its revoked land by the FCT Administration.
Wike said the agency can only reclaim the revoked land by repurchasing it from the FCTA at its current market value.
The state this on Thursday when the acting Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, visited to request land to build a school and to plead that its revoked land be given back.
Wike assured Adeniyi that he would work on the land for the school but stated his unhappiness with government agencies not developing their properties in line with stipulated timelines.
The minister insisted that lands revoked by the FCT Administration must be rebought at their prevailing market value.
