According to the PRO, the Oleku crooner agreed to be taken to the station for driving without license plates.
It was on the way to the station that Ice Prince allegedly assaulted the officer.

A lot of Nigerians on Twitter are questioning the arrest of the singer, asking if he was alone when the alleged assault happened. They are requesting for his own side of the story.
I would still love to hear Ice Prince side of the story because how did an armless citizen abduct an armed policeman? How come the policeman was alone? What about his colleagues? Some things are not adding up.

If you know how Nigerian police officers lie and entrap you when things don't go their way, you'll never believe everything they say, especially when they see an opportunity to chase PR spotlight as victims of the populace.
Meanwhile, human rights activist, Segun Awosanya popularly know has Segalink says Ice Prince is known to be a law-abiding citizen.
He promised that his organisation, Social Intervention Advocacy Foundation will step in to negotiate.
Thank you for your service Distinguished sir @BenHundeyin. @Iceprincezamani is known by us @SIAF_NG to be a law abiding citizen and this unfortunate event will be engaged and addressed via a mutually beneficial intervention & a future occurrence forestalled. On ground already🙏🏽 https://t.co/WTGBMTdQSb
