President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mohammed Abba Isa as his Senior Special Assistant on Disability Matters.
This was contained in a press release by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Thursday.
Isa is a graduate of the University of Maiduguri where he finished with bachelor's and master's degrees in Public Administration.
In his new role, Isa will foster inclusion by integrating the requirements and perspectives of persons with disabilities into the federal government’s policies and programs.
He will also collaborate with sub-national authorities to establish a national consensus on disability-friendly policies and environmental conditions.
