The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered the posting and redeployment of 40 senior police officers.
They comprise 14 Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGPs) and 26 Commissioners of Police to various commands and formations.
This is according to a statement released Thursday morning by Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
IGP Egbetokun charged the newly posted/redeployed officers to be professional and diligent while supporting the Nigerian government's economic recovery and growth agenda.
