Breaking: Military Declares Eight Wanted Over Okuama Killings

The military has declared eight persons wanted over the killing of 17 Army officers and soldiers in Okuama Community of Delta State.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja during the bi-weekly media briefing on military operations.

The wanted persons are Akevwru Omotegbono, Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Bakriri, Akata David, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Oghenerukevwe, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.

Maj. Gen. Buba urged Okuama community members and well-meaning Nigerians to assist the military with information on their whereabouts.

The deceased officers and soldiers were buried on Wednesday.

Maj. Gen. Buba further confirmed the release of 313 suspects, in detention for terrorism-related offenses, to the Borno State government following a court order.
