Suspected bandits have abducted a former Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (retd), and killed one person in Tsiga village, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
According to The Guardian, at least nine other individuals were also kidnapped as the attackers ransacked several homes, looting valuables.
The assault occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday when the armed assailants stormed the community.
