A non-governmental organization, War Against Injustice, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest, investigate and possibly prosecute Kano State's former governor, Abdullahi Ganduje over an alleged $5 million bribery.
The petition was signed by the organization’s Executive Director, Umar Ibrahim Umar, and dated 30 May 2023.
Umar urged the EFCC to act just like it does when investigating ordinary Nigerians with such allegations against them.
The petition was addressed to the Kano Zonal Commander of the EFCC with the commission’s chairman in copy.
