The Nigerian Railway Corporation has announced a shift in the date of the resumption of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service which was earlier fixed for Monday, 23 May.
NRC Deputy Director of Public Relations Yakubu Mahmood disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the NRC will release a new date for the resumption of the train service.
It added that the NRC remains fully committed towards ensuring the adequate safety of all passengers that ply all the rail routes in the country.
Meanwhile, the NRC also restated its commitment towards ensuring the release of the remaining abducted victims from the unfortunate incident that occurred in March this year.
