Former President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to support his successor, Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, on the first anniversary of Tinubu's administration, Buhari extended heartfelt wishes to President Tinubu.
He emphasized the importance of unity and support from Nigerians to help the government achieve its goals.
"He appealed to Nigerians to give their blessings and support to the Tinubu administration so that it can succeed in building the Nigeria of our dreams," the statement read in part.
Buhari expressed his hopes for a successful tenure for President Tinubu.
Bola Tinubu, from the All Progressives Congress (APC), succeeded Buhari on 29 May 2023.
