Manchester United have announced the appointment of Erik Ten Hag as Manager.
The Dutchman who is currently the manager of Ajax has signed a three-year deal and he will replace interim manager Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
This deal is subject to work visa requirements and would run until June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year.
"It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead," he told United's website.
"I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.”
Erik Ten Hag will be Manchester United’s fifth permanent manager since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
With no trophy in five years, he will be looking to change the fortunes of United as soon as he can.
