The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that the old N200, N500, N1,000 notes remain legal tender in Nigeria until 31 December 2023.
The seven-man panel of justices of the apex court led by Justice John Okoro also nullified the federal government’s naira redesign policy.
The court declared it as an affront on the 1999 Constitution.
