The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ratified Abdullahi Ganduje as its acting National Chairman.

The National Executive Committee of the party made the decision on Thursday at its 12th NEC meeting held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.

The NEC also okayed Ajibola Bashir as the National Secretary of the party.

Present at the meeting was President Bola Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Also in attendance were chieftains of the party in the National Assembly, and members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum.

While thanking the president shortly after his election, the former Kano governor also noted to give premium attention to election management and conflict resolution.

He further assured he would ensure victory for the party in all forthcoming governorship elections across the country.

Recall that back in July, two members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Iyiola Omisore left their roles as the party’s National Chairman and National Secretary respectively by resigning.
