2023 Presidential Election: APC Wins in Ekiti, Collation to Continue 11 am Monday

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the result of the presidential election in Ekiti State.

The All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu, won in the state with 201,494 votes from 16 local government areas.

The People’s Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar came second with 89,554 votes, followed by the Labour Party’s Peter Obi who polled 11,397 votes.

Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party got 264 votes out of the 314,472 votes cast.

Six thousand, three hundred and one (6,301) of those votes were rejected as only 308,171 were valid.

The result was announced at the National Collation Center at the International Conference Centre, Abuja on Sunday evening.

The chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, thereafter, announced that the collation of results will continue at 11 am on Monday.

Only the presidential result from Ekiti State has been announced at the National Collation Center.
