Oluwaseun Peter Olaniyan was born to a Yoruba father from Ibadan in Oyo State and an Igbo mother from Ibusa in Delta State; in the northern Nigerian city of Kano. He is the first of five children.
He attended Covenant University, Ota in Ogun State, Nigeria; and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Growing up, Oluwaseun developed a passion for music, poetry, writing, art. He often recalls that as a child he had a thing for singing loudly in his bathroom with an ever-listening audience of one; the mirror that hung on the bathroom wall.
Creative expression through music and the arts as a whole started out as an adventure, which has led Oluwaseun to finding it as a medium through which he can express his inner thoughts, ponderings and ideas; and also deliver a message of love, hope and faith.
He started a career in broadcasting after a stint with KPMG as a tax consultant. The decision to quit consulting and begin the journey in media & broadcasting was spurred by a yearning to be in an industry where his innate abilities and talents will find full expression.
Oluwaseun is a man with diverse interests and inclinations as besides having a strong nerve for business, he still nurtures the desire to fly airplanes.
